The Midlands team at Codified Legal specialises in technology, outsourcing, data protection and artificial intelligence. It also provides HR and company law advice to technology businesses.

The team consists solely of senior lawyers with in-house experience in the technology and outsourcing sectors.

This office acts for a number of leading technology businesses, including:

• some of the world’s biggest technology, outsourcing and cloud computing service providers.
• a global management consulting group;
• a NYSE-listed software development and services company; 
• a multinational financial services outsourcer;

It also works for UK-based clients in the IT sector outside London – such as: various IT services businesses; e-commerce platform providers, data security companies.

Besides Midlands-based clients, instructions come from other UK regions such as London and the Thames Valley, and from international clients in the United States, Middle East, and the Nordics. It also serves a vibrant group of smaller start-ups and early-stage businesses that are attracted to the firm by its specialist focus and cost-effective approach.

In addition, the Midlands office has been involved in providing lawyers on longer term secondment engagements rather than a simple hourly rate. For example, providing senior lawyers to cover maternity leave at a US headquartered, management consulting business.
